By car: Cross the Skye Bridge on the A87 and continue to Portree.  On the way into Portree you will notice a filling station on your right.  Balloch is the third house after the filling station, on the same side of the road.  You will see the Balloch B&B sign.

By bus: Citylink buses pass the door from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and Fort William with connections from all parts of the UK

By train: The nearest train station is at Kyle, then get the Citylink bus to Portree

By air: The nearest airport is Inverness.  From there you can get a Citylink bus to Portree or hire a car.

By ferry: An alternative to the Bridge is the Skye Car Ferry from Glenelg to Kylerhea, a very scenic route.
